Stars Youth Refuge is here to support both the community and other organisations by providing a preventative and supportive approach to youth homelessness. We take referrals from organisations and individuals. By working in with other organisations it gives us the opportunity to network and reach as many girls as we can. We are a female lead entity with a focus on girls from Arabic, Sub Continent and Islamic backgrounds. Having cultural understandings means we are able to work with the girls from a place of familiarity.  This is very important for girls who to express their issues within a culturally nurturing environment. 

Keeping Home

Keeping Home is a preventative approach to youth evictions and homelessness. SYR recognises the importance of being a supportive partner in our youths journey by helping them to understand all their rights and responsibilities of independent living. We offer a completely supportive approach by walking hand in hand with our youth. 

Our Keeping Home Program helps youth tackle all the expectations of living independently. SYR helps empower youth to make choices based on knowledge and skills!
